Check what each plan includes

MailerLite Free includes 250 subscribers and 2,500 monthly emails; Comfort lists 50 automations. GetResponse offers a 14-day trial. Starter is $19 a month or $15.58 a month when paid annually, with a base list size of 1,000 and one custom automation. Marketer lists unlimited workflows. The entry plans have different list sizes: choose the same subscriber ceiling and sending frequency before comparing totals.

Which job do you need it to do?

For a small editorial newsletter, start with list growth and monthly sending. For shop follow-ups, check whether the exact plan includes the segments and recovery triggers you need. That’s a suggestion based on requirements. Deliverability and Chinese display remain untested, and we still need our own setup and recovery records. We haven’t picked a winner or given scores.

What this means for you

Start with your list and the emails you need to send. A lower starting price alone won’t settle the choice.

  1. 1Name the task
  2. 2Try one workflow
  3. 3Add up the cost
  4. 4Check again before renewal

What to write down when you try it

If your process keeps changing, you can’t estimate usage, or no one can look after the setup, pause before subscribing. Keep a manual way to do the job while you try a tool.
